the type 9 out put shafts are the same size 1.6 and 2.0 but cortinas are diffrent the 2.0 is bigger you need a prop from a manuel 20/2.3 cortina or from any late mk3 auto or any autp mk4/mk5 :superman:

here my mk5 for sale for some one to finish her she is complete all parts there lots of work done to it all welding done new sills 1 whole inner sill replaced 2 new wings fitted welding to innerwings need tiddying up if you want to paint the engine bay to show standerd nearly mint used bonnet fitted 4 good doors now fitted in primer and a nice boot lid fitted plus rear valence needs abit of reapair at bottom in each corner and the passenger rear arch needs work plus a mint set of dark brown seats and carpet fitted and full brown trim not faded upper rear seat just the door cards are cream it will need a full repray . runs really nice allways starts a little bit cammie good back axle and good gearbox the car has onley done 55,000 miles frunt brakes are sticking and need sum new bushs in frunt tie arms it has 2 mint bumpers allso a stainless steel back box fitted rolled tip type shes got a set of mk2 mondeo ghia alloys fitted too allso the gav 301w reg has been taken off the car before i got it the reg is now jcy 751w will post more resent pics wene i can im after 550 for her she needs a good home my number 07561298748 veiwing welcome

as it says im selling a 1971 1600xl mk3 estate very very solid ive not found any rot on it anywhere !!! the worst bit on the body is its had rear arches fitted but the havent been filled in very well .its been fitted with a 1600gt engine and box form a mk2 gt cortina it hasent got a id with the car as a previous owner had bourt it for its logbook book for his other mk3 apart form that its a good project it needs paint and the interior its abit shabby it starts on the key it does drive been off the road for about 15/16 years im open to offers on the car .i cant upload pics but veiwing is welcome im in leicster and my phone num is 07594453437 cheers jay :thumbup:
