Hi Everyone I have just put my 1600e on ebay not sure how to upload pictures on here, the car is located in Gosport hants

Hi Everyone can someone please shed somelight on wether the calipers fit on the front of the disk or the rear, I have a workshop manual and two of the pictures in the brake section show them on the front of a 1600e and in another they are at the rear also the exploded picture on the front of the book they apear to be on the rear, as far as I can remember once you strip the kegs down they are interchangeable, any help would be good thanks in advance George

the original colour was a metalic green then it had been painted aubergine, not very well but that matched the rest of the restoration with most of the repairs riveted on, or even little copper nail in some areas, I have replaced the suspension tops, upright and verts, chassis rails middle and rear, new arches, fixed the floor, new quarters new inner wheelwell and the list goes on and on, once we start these things it is never ending the worst bit was bare metaling the whole car underneath and body panels, if we knew how bad things were would we ever start George

can t think of many Aubergine ones back in the days :unsure: - well first time i entered UK was in 1978? advantage of a dark colour is that the chrome comes up quite nice!

I am posed with a dilema, I have got my 1600e ready to paint and cant decide on the colour, stuck between silver, blue mink or aubergine, what do you guys think, or what is the most popular colour for a 1600e either one of these colours would do me thanks George
