  1. The front is lowered with cut down springs. Wired into the cups to keep the mot man happy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Mine is about 4 inches lower than standard. Lowered with decambered leaf springs You can't go much lower without serious mods to the chassis. Eg the prop shaft will start making contact with the tunnel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    MOT time

So had the MOT today.... Failed! Thankfully all small things Nearside indicator decided to pack up on the way! Headlamps were wired up so that dip beam was high beam! Not sure how I managed that!!? And one of the top mounts bearings was seized up and clonking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I thought that they were pre engaged starters on the mk5? If it is a inertia they are easy to Recondition with new brushes - available on eBay for less than a tenner Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Not mot'd yet... It's ready...But 1-2 more weeks until I can find time to take it to the mot garage! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I think with the smaller holes you just use the metal clips. The bigger holes use the plastic clips Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Water pump, head gasket, or cracked head. Water doesn't always find it's way into the oil. Sometimes it's sucked into the combustion chamber and comes out of the exhaust as water vapour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
