Hello everybody, i just bought a 1976 TC2 Taunus (Cortina mk4) however the left side mirror which is the drivers side for me is not showing the road. There is some small adjustment range on the mirror itself but even in the most downward setting the mirror is still showing the sky, i need to bring myself so much higher when sitting to actually see the road thru the left mirror. Is this normal, if not how could i fix this issue? I also bought the car from first owner that barely drove it since 1985 so it is legit at 90k kilometers so it is probably also the original mirror on it.

Rear suspension bushes, help! Hi everyone, I'm brand new to this board and I need some help finding some Ford Cortina mk3, possibly mk4/5 suspension bushes. They are for the rear upper trailing arm, front bush. I'm told it is a "solid" version of a void bush. Not sure if the original part number is 1481424 or 1505928. I was given another number EM1492. This last number used to be stocked at SW propshafts, but apparently no longer! I must say they are for a special built Fogey Sprite, which uses these bushes on the rear suspension. I really need 6 and wondered if anybody had some or knew where I could buy some; I've exhausted the internet! I understand Superflex do polybush versions, number SF 148 0219KSS and if anyone can confirm that too please. Many, many thanks in advance. Andrew

Hi everyone. I am about to rebuild an Atlas diff unit that has suffered a tad of abuse (hooning! :ninja: ) and on inspection one of the planet gears has a chip off it and hence i would like to know if the diff unit / planet gears are the same as Capri 2.0 and Cortina 2.0. There is a couple of diff units on ebay at the moment but how do i tell the ratio without the crown wheel and pinion fitted? Or are the planet gears all the same size regardless of what ratio is fitted? Or does anyone have a 3.75 diff unit that is good for sale? Sorry for all the questions, any help / advise will be much appreciated. Thanks, Martyn.
