Tawny Paul 0 Posted July 31, 2004 Several people have muttered about re-fabrication over the years, but does anyone have any new news? Seeing as 2 just went for £63 on Ebay.....and they were broken ones..... "Ballyheen" the underbidder I presume is our Colonial friend...? CorKtina 17 Posted July 31, 2004 it is very DANGEROUS for you to refer to the Republic of Ireland as one of your colonies....... yes I was silly enough to bid £61 for two pillar badges, both of which were pinless and one was de-laminating........however i too have heard nothing for months about ereplicas being made and the ones on my Taunus are very ropey.... CortinaDave 3 Posted August 3, 2004 I was the luckiest guy in the world with these.... Last year got a pair of NOS perfect badges off eBay Australia for my GXL... for three quid plus p&p - they were listed as Wolesley badges so no one else bid :car: I also picked up a decent set as spares at an autojumble this year for a tenner. They are out there if you keep looking. I am VERY jealous of the Gold ones though - they were only on early J reg cars were they not? Mine have the logo in silver.
