Series 2 1600e For Sale

It's a sad day but I have to advertise my 1970 MK2 1600E for sale. It's Aubergiene in colour, SORN'd, MOT ran out Apr 05. I want to put her back on the road but have just run out of time.

It will need to some TLC to get it through an MOT Test.

It has a brand new (2 month old) mild steel silencer fitted, and will come with the following: Spare engine (I've never started this, so a re-build might be in order), rear seat base & back, 1 rear wheel arch repair panel (it does need both doing).

Bits I know need attention: Rear wheel arches, nsf wing base is quite rusty, new head lining needed, clock & radio don't work and the paint has gone flat and is starting to crack on the roof and bonnet.

I forgot to mention that the car is a runner, I only took her off the road because the exhaust fell off (now replaced).

 

The vehicle is just outside of Southampton, and I'm open to offers on the price.

 

PS Im looking at replacing this with another one, so if there are any in good condition near the South Coast I could be interested.

I forgot to mention, I also have 3 doors (also in aubergiene), complete apart from the window winder handles and a clutch kit (there is nothing wrong with the old clutch, I just aquired a brand new replacement just in case).
