Yes I thought the whole set up is a bit odd but Ford must have had their reasons for it. The pipe that comes directly out of the top of the filler neck is the one that vents to the chassis so you could never fill it up that much for it to flow down the pipe, the ones lower down either side vent to the top of the tank, and another bigger one vents to alongside the filling hole on side of tank.

Thanks Tony, yes my buck is not too bad, little bits here and there which are so awkward to get at with the double skin. :thumbdown: but at least I'm getting there now. Hopefully it will be at the YAT again one year.
