Hi Guys

I,m a Newbie, a Brit living in Southern California, I have a passion for Fords but own various cars, I recently bought a 1967 Cortina Mk2 2dr GT in ermine white, this car was a desert car with zero rot and has the lower GT body stripes, also looks like it left the UK as a GT but everything else on the car looks like Twin Cam , 2000E box Roller bearing top mounts , upper link bar rear axle. Does anyone Know anything about these early Mk2 series 1 US export Cortinas.

Hi Robert and welcome,

the above mentioned things are "standard" on early GT´s and also early Deluxes etc. had rollerbearing topmounts!

Thanks guys , tried to upload pictures from my photobucket account on the members cars thread , but every time I get a message that the administrator does not allow images from this site. I am clicking on the IMG code and right clcking to save then pasting into the image box but no joy.

Do I need a certain # of posts before I can upload images?

its all down to condition Andy go onto members cars section and post some pictures

but IMO what your car is worth is the price you paid and if you sell it the price you get that day will be what its worth.
