Which engine to go for?

Recommended Posts

i have seen a couple of 1600 x-flow engines and wanted to know which one would be the best of the two to rebuild.

One has engine number 681F 6015JA and the other has 691M 6015BA

Does anyone know what the differences are between the two, and going by the engine numbers would they definately be 1600 x-flow engines?

691M6015BA is 1600cross flow manufactured in 1969 (the first 2 numbers 69 of 691) 6015 means engine block B means 1600

As for the other one I don't know. I would go for the 691
