Swapping doors

Hi

 

Anyone know the simplest and quickest way to swap rear doors on a mk3? I haven't had a look at mine yet to see how its done, but I know I need a very quick turnaround to take a rear door off and put on a complete replacement.

 

I'm thinking that maybe the door post trim can pop off and I can easily get access to captive nuts for the hinges, or maybe the reverse on the door side.

 

Anyone know the quickest and easiest way?

I recently refitted the rear doors on my mk5 estate and tried two different methods. On one side I opened the front door and undid the bolts that hold the rear door to the hinge and on the the other side, I removed the door post trim and undid the five nuts that hold the hinge to the b post. Of the two methods, I found the latter much quicker and easier. :oops:

door post trim and undo the nuts...when you put it back on shut the door so its engaged with the catch get a nice gap round the door edges then do the nuts up..sounds obvious i know...
