I am restoring a mk1 thats been modified badly in this area ,Looks like im on the fabrication route this are would be great if you could also a picture of the gearbox tunnel and under dash ? Mk1 Steve - if you look at the bottom of page 2 you'll see how the tunnel was butchered for the V6 and the new tunnel being fabricated. It came out of an automatic with a raiser to take the Type 9 box.
