'63 MK1 project

Hard to believe it but that's the interior finished :) Took a lot longer than I thought

 

After the hassle with the carpet thought it would be just straight forward to put the seats in :wacko: Bought them over a year and a half ago and when I trial fitted the seat frame --- too narrow!!! What a surprise eh? :chain: Had to chop them up and widen them.

Got the Emerald K3 - that long since I bought it their on the K6 now :rolleyes:

Don't want to imagine it myself :shocking: :shocking: Spread out over 5 years and no way I'm doing sums. Not being in one hit it doesn't seem so bad :rolleyes:

Never never add up the cost, as you wont be able to look the wife in the eye ever again :wife: and remember its a hobby.

Hi Perry. I used a Mk2 Escort World Cup cross member and an Escort steering rack. Used the Old Ford autos kit. To be honest I would't recommend the world cup one as it was a problem for the steering coupling.

You can still use the steering box if you use a front bowl sump. Hope you getting on ok with the car :thumbup:

Richard, the rear discs are Fiesta Mk2/ 3 solid front, but the half shafts have to be turned down a couple of mm to fit the discs. Calipers are Sierra. Quite a common mod on the English axle.

cant wait to see this have you used a type 9 if so what clutch and fly wheel i got the mass one and clutch on it but been told dont need it thanks m8
