every car needs its cat inspector

Our cat inspector wasn't sure how to deal with two Cortinas at once so decided to go to sleep :o

Just read this thread from start to finish

Car looks ace and is a credit to you and the hard work gone in to bring it upto this standard. Quality

Many thanks for the good comments.

I've just fitted the Ghia radio console so I've got a clock again now, rewired the radio including soldering and running an accessory ignition fed wire which I didn't have before and repositioning my choke cable with a bracket (Thanks Paul for the photos some time ago).

I'm now in the process of getting the alloy wheels refurbished. They're due to be finished Tuesday but I've had a look tonight and they've done a top job, so once I've got them back and on the car I'll post some updated pictures.

Thanks Paul, I'm not sure yet Paul, I might try to get there as I've missed all of them so far this year :tears:

Just got my wheels back tonight and put them on in between the rain! Not very good pictures as the car's dusty and I hadn't even given the wheels a wipe over and was in a rush to get it back in the garage. They came out really good although there was deep corrosion in two of them and the lacquer came out slightly pitted but I'm well pleased with them. I put brand new 'out of the packet' centre caps on and treated it to some locking wheel nuts too!

I did take a few more but next door's nice little cat 'Burt' kept jumping up and blurring the picture

Due to flying through its M.O.T with no problems and on the road for another year  and not having much spare time this last year, I thought I'd finally treat it to the new rear window sticker that I bought over a year ago! pig of a job to remove the old one but I got there in the end complete with blister!!! :tears:

Not the best of pictures as I'd put it back in the garage.
