Standard available colours in 1969

Recommended Posts

As you mentioned you liked Riviera Blue, Lagoon Blue is sort of close to that (but more greenish).

I got a can of Riviera Blue yesterday to have a look. So far it's the winner unless I see something similar. I'll have a look at the other options listed too.

Yes I looks like KRT's car, but the pics aren't very big for a good look.

I should be finished the primer by the end of the week and starting on the engine bay and other hidden bits. I won't be doing the colour until the sun shines but I really need to make up my mind on a colour.

Anchor blue has a deep deep shine to it, the wing you sprayed looks like olympic blue, modern 2-pack paint will be shinier anyway, would be handy if you had a spare wing or bonnet you could test spray different colours....

is this one you? If it is then I like that colour a lot, and as thats my cars original colour I might go for that. Although my son just said he likes white. I like white too though. Decisions decisions.

This is my old car; it was painted in CR light green, similar to light blue, correct colour for year 1969/70.

Cheapest bet is to paint it ready mixed Diamond white £17 per litre. Goes with anything, that's what my next car is going to be.
