Did you say first coat of primer soon .....????

Front end Mark dont want 2 leave it to long keep the rust off ,it makes me feel im getting somewhere do you like the roof .

 

You made a top job of the roof colin , must come down and see it soon mate ...

 

get it primed , then get your block out ..!!!!

Nigel - You obviously didn't see that programme on ITV2 last night called 'The only way is Essex' - not a good example to set the rest of the country ! :headscratch:

Morning Hans yes that my one its LHD only done 3300ks the last owner tried 2 make it look like an airflow car but its a 63 , i got a grill and surround from Satkin so when i get some time il put it back to how it should be its never had any paint or welding its the best mk1 iv ever owned .

rubbed down the engine bay ready for primer,

finish all the welding on the roof so pleased thats done next job rear arches boot floor .

still getting on well colin ... roof looks the nuts mate ..

 

The whole car in primer will look the ...... Bo##ocks .....

Thanks Mark ,primer by xmas that would be good but i dont think so i only get saturdays 2 work on it and iv got at least 5 6 days just on the welding ,its going well but my finnish date is september 4 the nationals you know how long it takes 2 do the small bits .

Some more work on the SAXON done it sat first chance iv had 2 post

 

got the doors in primer ,

then started on the rear arches ,

next job in the boot floor as its a lot shorter now had 2 cut down the filling panels

now the welding is finished on the roof im doing the restoration paste im so pleased with this roof it totaly makes this car
