Nearly there Colin, just the little finicky bits to do now, have you sorted out how to mount the stainless grill trim or are you not using it now?

Hi Dave yes and yes i haven't fitted yet as iv got 2 do a blowin under the headlight.

 

 

I hope you didn't scratch that lovely paint fitting it up - you should be more careful ! :angel_not:

 

Love the door panels Colin; they look a lot better on the doors with the contrast to the painted areas. Very period look about them. :thumbup:

Done a couple of hours 2day fitted the carpet in the back and the rear bulk head panel

also fitted the grill surround i think it really finishes off the front ,thanks to Dave 63 tina as he gave me the trim

Done the MOT today had to fit the real plates don't look as good as the show plate

Its a bit a mile stone day it was one year today when i posted the first pictures so 2 be as good as finished is a great buzz.

col, a job well done its good to see that a trades man and his hands can do a great job with out the use of CNC machines. can you post a photo of it next to your lotus to compair.

No Problems Colin, glad i still had a spare one. your right it finishes the front off, and you were right to go with the bright headlight rims the 3 main chrome bits make it all work together :thumbup:

Sorry no pictures lately had a few family problems Dads been ill, i have done a fair bit more its as good as finished only one week till the pod so got to get it done , had one problem had a bad vibration thought it was my home made wheels, tried all sorts 2 fix it even fitted a diff set of wheels fixed it in the end turned out 2 be the prop, i don't think i lined it up properly when i welded it, made a new one vibration gone . iv done over 50 miles now i was always a bit worried about how it would drive worries over it drives amazing nippy handles really well much better then i hoped il post some picture tomorrow .
