the-ford-cortina.com 225 Posted October 4, 2010 we bought some off ebay - was fast and efficient - cant remember which seller now though put them on the 73 Capri - local police promised to turn a blind eye ( possibly something to do with being a fellow Capri driver :icecream: ) :)

We were walking along the cars at Blackpool the other week at the show and 90% of the number plates wernt legal :afro:
83-GLS 2 Posted October 5, 2010 I bought three sets last year for my Focus, Cossie and Cortina from ebay. They are marketed as show plates, but take your chance and you could end up with a £30 fine and worst case, the plates confiscated. I personally would only fit them to the front of the car if I was using them on the road as the law sat behind you in traffic looking at them is just inviting a pull. Obviously you run the same risk if you pull up behind plod but have less chance of a tug if they are driving in the opposite direction.
