RLH487W 0 Posted February 4, 2017 Nice to hear you are still keeping the project going. Still got your suggestion to try - thanks
RLH487W 0 Posted February 4, 2017 Good to hear it hasn't been abandoned. Good luck with getting it all sorted. Would love to have a classic Ford as my daily as well, but not suitable for the milage I am doing. Nope not abandoned - considered selling for a while but would of regretted . Granadas not to bad only £30 a week fuel though I don't work far from home
GhiaMk4/5 207 Posted February 4, 2017 I have tried the joining of the cables - also bought another car and swapped everything from one to the other There are a few things I'm going to try inc Petes suggestion re fuel pump mount Thing is since Iv started using the Granada I have realised Iv been getting it wrong all these years - instead of having car of the road for years converting and making it go faster it's a lot better driving an old arm chair and driving like miss daisy They are comfy boats, must admit, once I take them off the road I take forever to repair and get them back together, got several on the go and when it is the weekend it seems like I repair everyone's car except mine. Jason 5 Posted February 6, 2017 ......I take them off the road I take forever to repair and get them back together, got several on the go and when it is the weekend it seems like I repair everyone's car except mine. Sounds all too familiar. :( Between the missus and I, we have 4 cars. A MK2 Fiesta Ghia and a MK2 XR2. A Mk2 1.1 Festival and a MK2 Cortina. The Festival and the Cortina sit in a lockup.. Sitting.. Waiting.. Once in a while, something gets taken off of the Festival to be used as a spare for the Ghia. My XR2 is my daily. Needs a load of little jobs doing to it. But they never get done. :( It's always the Ghia that take president over everything else. Jason.
Onslow78 36 Posted April 15, 2020 Hi there. Are there any plans of getting this awesome machine back out again? I would love to see it in the flesh.
