How to post your pictures on BSC

Recommended Posts

first you need to get yourself a photobucket account . www.photobucket.com then upload your pictures from your pc to your P/B acount

then when you have your pictures on P/B you have to put your cursor over your picture and you get a box with options in. you need the bottom line

which says IMG code . right click that and copy it. then back to your bsc thead right click and paste it then click add reply you should have your picture on your bsc thread. good luck

ps: have 2 window open bsc and photobucket then you can click back an forth between the 2 sites

Uploads are allowed in such as Cortina Discussion, technical & show pics etc. Not Off Topic etc

I have followed the instructions for posting photos to the best of my limited ability but when they are posted onto BCS I get the message to enable 3rd party hosting. When I have tried to enable this it appears that it is only available if you pay for the expensive package. Is this the case, or am I doing something wrong, which, with my IT skills, is quite possible. Many thanks in advance,

John Foster

When you post you'll see a paperclip in the text window, & an option to choose files, select the file & upload & then drag the picture to wherever you want to see it in your post.

Hello, in a post I made in Technical I attached a photo with no problem. Since then I have been unable to attach more photos. I’ve exhausted all the methods I can think of I but not tried setting up a photobucket account as I managed to post before without one. So any suggestions or remedies will be appreciated. Thanks. Tim

Welcome to BSC

Some of the forums allow uploading, others do not - e.g. Technical will, Off Topic won't

If the option s available to you, you'll see a "Drag files here to attach "paperclip"' at the bottom of your reply/post window

The reason being is that our web hosting company charge on disk space used, therefore we don't want to be paying for photos that are irrelevant to the site.

I also see that you are a new user, posting options open up a bit more, once you've been a member for a while.

Thanks Neil,

I’m not that new a member just not posted often. The choose files link is what I used to put the photo on before with no problems. Since then when I select the photo and click add a box comes up saying I am only allowed to upload 153.6 Kb. As far as I know all my photos are the same size.
I’ve been trying to start a post in the car show section to post pics from a show I went.

Ta Tim
