Got me stumped then as it's a shade of grey.... I was thinking mercury but wanted some confirmation.

X plate, so 81/82 in my book. It's the mk5 in my signature, upper colour.

Although it is difficult to tell from a photo it looks like GRAPHITE GREY over STRATOS SILVER.Correct me if I am wrong but was this colour scheme used on the mk2 GRANADA as well?

Graphite Grey was the only Mk5 shade of proper grey.

I always thought Dove Grey should have been called Dove Beige!

Thanks guys.

I guess we should look at adding more options to the VIN decoder then as it didn't have this colour scheme or the interior trim.

Mk5s were all over the place, my GhiaS trim didn't exist on the decoder and TBH it was strange :headscratch: never seem it before? more granny style than cortina? i think by the end they just used what was laying about, see the crusader as a perfect example

Also had new Ghia door trims (early Mk5 brown) that no-one had ever seen (had a similar pattern the later chatsworth seat pattern on em ) but had an 80 part number
