Website Full Of Cortina Photos

Hi all,

 

Found this full of pictures old and new of Cortinas (found two of mine on page 295) there's a few cars on there that I recognise. Do these pictures belong to anyone on here?

If so, well done, kept me glued to the screen for a little while.

Judging teh mix of buses and Cortinas I would think these are Phils or MrT as his username was. There are pics of my red Mk5 2dr prior to all its work!! If you want to see if your car is in the pics, type in your index at the top right of the page :thumbup:

i think its a guy called phil tyler

i have had a couple of cars off him and the black and white taxi XVO 509m was mine

or it could be a guy called spike who also owned the black and white cab

they are both in the pictures under my cars so im not to sure who's it is

I was hoping to find my Dad's old Dove grey MK5 which has gone to Cortina heaven in 1994 according to DVLA :tears:

 

Reg No. XGK 539W but I couldn't find it-shame.

Some cracking pic's on there... :thumbup: I was especially keen on the Mk1 Granada's/Consul's and Mk4 Zodiac's/Zephyr's but was horrified when I did a DVLA check on a few of the number plates, so many are not taxed any more and this is very worrying...!!!

some of mine too, current car cdu 945y and two old ones xlj395y and kot755y. was dissappointed to see them copyrighted myself.

I know Phil and he's a really nice guy - he wouldn't try to nick anyone's copyright.

 

I had a look at some other random Flickr pages, e.g.

and it has the same copyright message, I'm guessing its something which is automatically put on each photo by Flickr.

that makes sense - some of these photo sites make the copyright their own as part of the agreement of hosting the pics. All the more reason why he shouldn't be using other peoples pics without permission. He may have agreed to flickr having copyright of his pics, but I haven't agreed to flickr having the copyright of my pics :thumbdown:

He's a really nice fella and wouldnt do anything to upset anyone. These pics have been on this site for a good 2 years now as well.

There are some of mine on there as well. Pics that I've uploaded to this site.

 

He might well be a really nice guy and all that, but he COULD have had the decency to ask first......
