Well here are some piccys of my car so far

this is how it arrived, bodywork all done but needed some welding on the chassis, the "y" sections at the rear

and a small bit on the front chassis rail

The boot floor has been modified to allow for twin ally fuel tanks and a centre exhaust system, which i still need

to make

The engine has been fully rebuilt, just waiting to get a new inlet manifold and a 4 barrel holly carb

currently rebuilding the front brake calipers and waiting for all the bolts to

come back from the platers to assemble the crossmember, also prepping the engine bay for painting semigloss black

A friend of mine started this back in 1995, he worked in a body shop at the time and did the paint work

and boot floor mod but he lost interest and it sat in his garage until 2008 when it was handed over to me.

i made the majority of the custom parts, fuel tanks, exhaust box, radiator and various other parts, i'm hoping to get the cross member all fitted up this week and the engine bay painted next week and if all goes to plan get the engine back in

over the bank holiday

Maria's black mk5 had one of those too. My Crusader has not. confused me that did.

Have seen them on estates but not a saloon. Until Maria's one and this anyway!
