btboy 49 Posted June 26, 2011 Well done to Nigel and Sharon and to everyone else involved with the show and all those who brought their fantastic vehicles Really good day. Loads of cars and lots of chatting to friends old and new. A good turn out of MK4s and a fab MK2 crayford, Graham's XR6 plus Colin's Saxon...simply superb! Just a shame I didn't have a camera as usual.

CHUNKY365 0 Posted June 30, 2011 Hi folks A bit late in replying! The members of the Essex Mini Club have asked me to thank everyone involved in the show at the weekend. Those of us that were there had a great day. Especially thanks from those of us that were camping (including me  ) We received a warm welcome and were impressed with the friendly atmosphere and the random chats as we walked through the field. AND although we seemed to cause some amusement by pitching up the biggest tents from the smallest cars, the banter was all good natured and fun. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyed by all of us there. It wasn't only the kids that enjoyed the bus, we had a good giggle on there! Apologies for the random Drum and Bass toss at about midnight, some of our younger members had got a bit sick of us oldens singing along to the fantastic strains of ELO! The youth of today eh??? :bag: The show day itself was great, with some fantastic cars on display. Thanks again folks for letting us turn up and pitch up!
