Rear 'GT' shield badges.........

Recommended Posts

Im after some replacement GT badges for the rear 1/4's on the Cortina as mine are very faded...........

Its a series 1 Mk2 1967...

Ive been told there are 2 different sizes of these badges!? and mine are the metal type ones as i believe there are some gel type too.....

Ive found a set of inlays on flea bay and asked the seller to measure them for me..........you can imagine the response!

Any ideas?? cheers in advance

all rear wing GT badges for Cortina are same size, the only difference was the earlier type with the plastic insert, which were for MK1 GT´s and early Corsair GT´s. from MK2 onwards all were the foil type you show in the pic:

on the very left is the early (MK1) type with the plastic insert, in the middle the correct one for MK2:

i lost 1 n bought a pair off evilbay, and the centres of the pins are 50mm instead of 2" and i had to file the holes to suit. apart from that badges are good.
