martog 149 Posted October 28, 2011 Me and a mate who was an active banger racer took a mk5 Cortina Estate (and it was in a state!) to a "them v us" meet at Speedworth? track near Ipswich around 2004/5/6??? On this day there were three intresting cars. Mk 4 Cortina 2.0S in Roman Bronze :thumbdown: Mk 4 Cortina saloon in red (can't remember which model). This was MINT!!! :thumbdown: Mk 1 Capri with a screaming crossflow!!! :) Maybe another 5 or 6 Mk5 Cortina's, then Capri's and the rest were various others, mainly Bluebirds. :D Needless to say, nothing left the track that day bigger than an ice cube!!! :o Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

the-ford-cortina.com 226 Posted October 29, 2011 Been to a yard darn sarf today where he had 4 mk1 cortinas , 1500 super show car , 2 door GT for restoration and 2 mk1 stock cars .
