Ford1975 2 Posted April 22, 2016 Excellent stuff Pete, the distance you travel in the car is unreal. Good too see it being enjoyed by yourself and others. Just 1 question was there any skimpily clad ladies adorn the bonnet?? 😎👌🏻👍🏼

cortina-city 141 Posted April 22, 2016 Fantastic pete,it's what this classic car ownership is all about memories  exactly!! i built the car to drive, i look foreward to smashing 50,000 miles on swampy im up to 15,000 miles now stonechips? repairs? damage? rain? dont care. ill just rebuild. its what classic car ownership should be. im not saying im not careful, i clean and oil and wax and pamper and look after swamoy all the time, but I JUST LOVE DRIVING especially with my rock music on
cortina-city 141 Posted April 22, 2016 i was lucky,........swampy has stayed amazingly clean underneath if you go under chassis with fairy liquid in a squirty bottle and scrub brush under arches it all comes up nice and blue paint. for the shoot we had to clean with toothbrush between the tread of tyres and used tyre black etc the camera lens was 50 megapixels, the operator was able to zoom in to a spec of dust. so i spent 3 hours cleaning the car. i reccommend Gravitex, its really done a great job under the chassis. holds off any scuffs or chips and you are able to clean easily to the paint finish. under the wheel arches and chassis looks as good as day it got painted.
