Duke Blues 15 Posted December 30, 2016 hello folks, i hope you are all having a good Christmas :magic: i haven't posted for a while due to technical issues but i hope that they are resolved now...... i've had a pretty good year this year with getting the car back on the road and changing jobs. i have been to a few car shows ( most weekends :icecream: ) and a tour of the Yorkshire Dales which was brilliant. i have also met a few BSC members which was long over due. Cortina mk3 day, it poured with rain all of the way there and in places the roads were flooded so the car got well and truly christened, but thankfully Andy had saved me a camping spot and a beer

Duke Blues 15 Posted December 30, 2016 on going maintenance :chain: brand new throttle cable snapped and had to be replaced, alternator packed up and had to be replaced, on going running problems had me stripping the carburetor most weekends :angry2: it turned out to be a faulty jet. the jet is supposed to be capped off but on the new one the little metal plug was missing and it took me quite some time before i noticed <_< the car runs beautifully now :car: i have also had to replace a broken speedo cable and a snapped clutch cable, re ajust the back brakes and sort out the odd wiring fault.
