markymarkthree 170 Posted December 31, 2016 Glad to see you have sorted the PB problem, I have gone advert free, cost is about a tenner a year and it is a lot quicker now. Looks like you have had a great year out and about with the car, I hope to catch up with you again in 2017.

snowy2 1 Posted April 15, 2019 hi everybody I have some news about this car it's now up for sale the reason being Graham the restorer of this Mark IIl cortina unfortunately was killed in a road traffic accident on Saturday night on the A63 in Hull. His wife has asked me to sell the car as nobody in her family is able to drive it and it's too much of a sad reminder for her and because it was his pride and joy and he counted me as possibly his best friend she's asked me to do the best for him and for her and therefore offering up for sale. as I say it's a mint better than factory mark 2 XL cortina he had insured for 10000 and had been off with that on a couple of occasions I however think it's worth a little bit more and will seek a little bit more for his wife and I will include my personal email address here for anyone to get in touch with me if they are interested. snowy2@gmail.com

nmonkey220 23 Posted April 15, 2019 I was stood with Graham at Classic Ford (Santa Pod) last year when he was offered £15000 on the spot and laughed at the bloke, The Bloke Asked how much would it cost £20, Grahams response was your getting closer The car is easily worth £15000 and more

FKLGLS 44 Posted April 16, 2019 My God, this is awful news. Met Graham a few times, a top bloke. Sold me a near side rear door in good nick for £10 to help me out when I couldn’t find one. He even bought it down from Hull for me to collect locally. Really sad that another prominent member of the Cortina community has gone. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this sad time. snowy2 1 Posted April 16, 2019 it seems that I misunderstood what Gill was saying to me on Sunday and we've talked about it over the phone and she understands where my error was, and I understand where her error was on the Sunday... Things were still very raw on Sunday anyway. it turns out that grahams brothers has been in touch and he's expressing interest in the car and gill is inclined to let him have it. and I'm really glad for her and I hope that that's what happens. so at the moment the car is not for sale and I may have been overstepping the mark, my apologies have been sent but I still feel very bad about it I hope you are also understanding.
