Steve 5 Posted February 20, 2012 Simon thanks for the reply mate,can you send me pictures of the inside/boot/top mounts and other side of the car please.... im going to have a word with colin next week and weigh up whats involved and see if its within my budget... cheers;kev This car is pretty solid .I have viewed it .the bulk head is no problem to a welder , and a posts, door frames ,rear suspension front top all look good .doors are good will go again .under bonnet stiffener panel is rusting would go again as would boot lid .Basically the price has people worried .If this hit ebay i would say it would double the adking price .Especially if Simon put better pics on . Cheers, dave It has all its external trim as in the pic but is missing a rear bumper, it has no interior apart from headlining, and am sorry mate i dont have any way of delivering it for ya, thanks, simon. redrs2 0 Posted March 10, 2012 Hi all, i have decided to put my 64 pre airflow 2 dr delux rolling shell up for sale, cant see me getting round to doing it for a while so if anyone wants to take it on she,s up for sale, here goes, it is a rolling shell fitted with recon disc braked front struts, and has a rover v8 and auto box fitted but condition of these are unknown, the bulkhead and tunnel have been modified to suit all done prior to my ownership. The shell needs welding and reqires inner and outer sills a drivers side floor pan, rear arches lower corners and repairs to front wings. The scuttles A posts boot apperture and gutters are all good, not a weekend fix but sound in all the hard to repair places. It is registered as a 3.5 litre on new style v5 and on sorn so no probs with dvla. Want to see £1200 as is or, can be sold with a 70k 4.0 TVR HC engine, mk1 3 ltr capri atlas, 2.8i single leaves, and a 4 speed zf auto box from ex cop sherpa with no elec lock up ie full hydrolic box for £1750. Also have panels to complete if the buyer was interested at extra cost, will try and post pics later, thanks Simon. Cortina now sold, thanks simon.
