Back out from hibernation 😀

Took it for a wee spin as an excuse to take the dogs for a walk. Noticed the timing belt sticker on the slam panel was dated 6 years ago so will get a belt for it, only done 5,ooo miles but I’ll throw one on.
It’s showing it’s age in places but will soldier on for now.

Car had been sitting outside and hadn’t been used in about 6 weeks so last night it got a clean and I used it today.

Steve, still plodding on and still getting used, now and again......I'll make an excuse to drive it to work just to keep the wheels turning.  I'm ok with it sitting in Tesco's car park, it isn't perfect so if it were to pick up scrape or knock then so be it.    But the time will come when it'll need some fettling, that's when it'll get some money spent and get a makeover...... but then I'll want to cherish it and keep it nice and NOT park it in Tesco's ! ......that might be when I stop enjoying it?

These were made for using and I want to keep it usable, not wrap it in cotton wool.  There's rust at the bottom of the rear screen at the O/S which will need dealing with very soon 

 

I'm well thanks, bought another bike just to add to the list of things to tinker with !

               Yes still Tinkering quite a lot these Days. I have built  a Guy a Bultaco on Commission. I have 3 Bulto's in the Garage and a Honda TLR That belongs to a guy I sold a Bulto to who wants me to do a refresh on. Not enough time and too many bikes. ThinkI have done and sold at lest 8 Bultacos. Don't tell Rachell from accounts, She will want her cut.
