cortina-city 141 Posted September 18, 2012 Wow, super video!. Gonna take some time to watch it from beginning till end. What kind of camara did you use? well i SHOULD have used my Panasonic DCX10 (very nice hand held and not expensive unit) BUT i burned it out with putting it to close to the welder on my restoration videos. So i used my cameras built in video feature (640x480) resolution. Sony Cybershot. not bad all rounder but i prefer pistol grip type units, easier to multi task with, i.e drive the car! i didnt really intend the footage to be used, it was merely my own record, but i posted it anyway. I was going to do the trip in HD (high Def) but if i committed to that i would have gone full on and made a feature film, now then that would have created a stress for me instead of just enjoying. A lot of the trip I was alone as part of the trip was for me to get some internal peace as its been a stressfull few years for me and i needed to be solitary for some of the time, this meant filming was harder as theres only so much scenery and road. It's people that make films. However, i now wish I had been the camera man for the trip. If it was on tomorrow I would get back in the car and drive straight back. I may as well have been in tears when i got back to UK. hats off to everyone who put that trip together an dmy apologies too for being elusive in parts, but i hope i explained myself adewautley and excused myself politley at the times i was missing.........it's just me.............. my rate for the trip is 11/10 as it went up to 11 ! :showoff:

No problem at all - he made this trip with same car 2 years ago.... and he knows what he has under the bonnet so made it cross Grossglockner. He has good mechanical skills and still owning his first cortina with 750000km on the clock - hope He will join our next trip to UK
