Just make sure whoever you find to do it can actually do it. A mate of mine paid an awful lot of money for some boat parts to be redone but they came out awful...it really is an art and a lot of people are doing a days course, buying £300 of chemicals and having a go!!...(badly!!)

I have the same problem to. I experimented by painting mine in alloy wheel spray & then lacquering them. I know they are not like the original finish but it does tidy them up. I think the best idea is to source some good ones of greedbay.

They look pretty good though. Now let me think... I used to know a guy who looked in to vacuum plating for Granada parts, but the companies wanted a minimum of 20 or so items before they were interested.

Ady's lights look good when I visited him. Why not try the chrome vinyl wrap they do cars with? I bought some about 50 inches long and 3 inches wide for £3.45 from Hong Kong with post and covered the grill top trim on my Corsair with it. With a gentle warm with a hairdrier it can be manipulated round corners. Paul

I would like to see how they come out Mr tibbs.

I tried masking mine then spraying with chrome effect paint but they came out Crap. :(

So I had been hoping to find a company that could do chrome detailing but as yet no luck.
