Loaded the rear deck to rear quarters this evening, I like to do these sort of joints as they are the ones that trend to flex the most...

N/S front wing all stripped and ready to be mounted and repaired, job for the weekend..

Spent the day rebuilding the N/S front wing, nearly done, just the last bit that joins the front valance panel left to do..

Well the last two weeks have been a bit of a roller coaster, first the Chevy decided to drop a valve so had to rebuild the engine. Next my wife is going to have a baby!!! (First time father for me)

 

So lots of decisions to be made, and I have decided to sell the Chevy, that way I can put a bit more money into the Cortina and will probably be looking for a 2 Door Mk2, one that's on the road. (help needed)

 

Then the fun begins, running the gauntlet of witling out the Tyre kickers, chancers, joy riders when I advertise the Truck.. :tears:

Also found a very good metal cleaner called Deox C Gel, just wipe it on and use a Scotchbrite, then rinse with clean water. Brings it up a treat.. and it leaves a phosphoric coating.. :rolleyes:
