frankie2.8 13 Posted November 30, 2013 WOW... nice one Frankie.......sorry for my late reply........looks like you have yourself a right gem there ....well done m8 :thumbup: great when a new one comes along....like me you nose out all the things that need doing..... its fun if the weathers ok ....as I don,t have the inside garage space with ojo tart in there :rolleyes: I know NogE! It's a pain! Having garage but it's so full of car there's no room to move! CDU's taking the space up in mine at the moment. Still lots I'd like to do, few tweaks here and there, change front shocks over the GAZ ones from CDU, little jobs like that really. frankie2.8 13 Posted December 28, 2013 (edited) Catch up on the piccies time!! Rear seats all fitted up, And now new steering wheel attached!! Bolster replaced on the drivers recaro. Have not swapped the front shocks over yet but did have to replace the lower rear shock mounting bolt as it decided to snap on me grrrr!!!! Need to get the rear tyres swapped as they are 60 profile not 70 profile so the speedo is incredibly inaccurate!!! frankie2.8 13 Posted January 4, 2014 Yep, 2" drop Trusty. Nice adjustable GAZ shocks aswell, well on the rear anyway. Not got round to changing them over yet. frankie2.8 13 Posted January 13, 2014 Managed to switch the carbs over from CDU today. Runs sweet and make a very nice sound when the toe is planted! frankie2.8 13 Posted January 29, 2014 Decided to change the carbs back to the 32/36 weber today. In retrospect, the carbs are set up for the red car. 2.1 fr22 cam and fiddled head. Not for a straight 2.0. It was glugging the fuel somewhat much more then the red one ever did. The red one was quite economical in comparison. And considerably faster overall. The twins on ENO always felt like it was being held back for some reason, red one just wanted to keep on going! So twin choke back on this morning, few tweaks here and there, reset timing and emissions, gapped plugs, tappets checked and tweaked. Now MUCH more lively, nice big kick in the back when throttle is decked, tickover lovely and smooth. Pulls good and hard through the gears, pulls from standstill in second gear with no bother at all! frankie2.8 13 Posted February 14, 2014 And went to start the car this morning to take little one to school, hmmm! That didn't go too well, dropped her off and cars dead!!! Oh really!! That'll be the alternator again. Great!! CDU to the rescue after a jump start by donating its alternater. Very wet! But the upside is all is well! ENO back on top form!! Also managed to get the new back tyres fitted over from CDU so we have a speedo that reads correctly! Now 185/70 as opposed to 185/60! Does not seem as fussy at speed now, and still pulls good and hard!
