Is it just the t stick and base showing gear you need.

think i have one if so.

I'm fairly sure the same lever was used on the Capri, if that helps.

Yeah that's correct, pretty much throughout the Ford range at that time eg mk1/2 Escort, Capri, mk3/4/5 Cortina and mk1/2 Grannys

I've got 2 from mk3's but they have straight levers and studs in the mounting plate where they bolt to the floor.... There must be more than one type!

Early Mk3s had the Borg-Warner 'box, later ones the Ford C3, so maybe that's the difference.

My 4-door Mk3 had the same lever for a while, connected to a Ford A4LD (4 speed with lock-up clutch, electric kick-down, etc. etc.)
