bortaf 83 Posted April 9, 2014 Cool comic strip  but needs some kepows and wammys :icecream: ( i liked batman as a kid ) :sofa: You rarely see banded steels of the older style on Mk5s, it's deffinatly differant :afro:
nostrilshorts 1 Posted April 9, 2014 I do like the thin white walls. I've seen them in a mk4 and they liked very nice. For me, a full white wall belongs in the 50s cars. Also wanna try the banded steel look as I personally like it and it's simple to change back to original. Just something a little different =)

Beowulf 87 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) Love the comic strip - don't like the wheels I am afraid, just look too old for the car :( Edited April 9, 2014 by Beowulf
Danish 294 Posted April 9, 2014 Will the banded steels stick out further than that? It looks like the half-shaft flange has moved further back in your later photos?

wreckers771 4 Posted April 10, 2014 There was an orange mk4 featured in classic ford or maybe retro ford that was lowered on banded steels-it looked ok. If ur not sure try getting your hands on a couple of ford puma 15' spare wheels. I had set on a mk5 and they looked good??
