Knapman 0 Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) My mums car and mine. Strange to think these two are in the same market segment :P And finally a front shot in decent light. Car looks lovely, but get that bonnet changed back to red its too good a car to be messed with..! Thats the difference between oldies & young ones, we like standard & you like jazzed up. Rainford in Liverpool, that will upset the neighbours :sofa: Have made contact with FKLGLS on here, he's in Rainford Bob Edited May 1, 2014 by Knapman
ChristinaGXL 23 Posted May 1, 2014 Gah! I didn't do the bonnet! :microwave: :P Though I do think it suits it quite nicely :P Anywho, It's not like it's irreversible. Is he the one with the crystal green mk5? I've seen it around a few times.

SmokeEm 1 Posted May 2, 2014 On oldskoolford today, a company called RH Insurance became a site sponsor and they offer classic policies to 21yr old's providing they are a member of OSF and satisfy a few other criteria - check it out?
ChristinaGXL 23 Posted May 2, 2014 Ooh definitely will be worth checking out.
ChristinaGXL 23 Posted June 5, 2014 Bought a few bits for the car recently, rev counter dash, land rover v8 engine mounts, spotlight brackets and some proper carellos. Hopefully they'll arrive before too long! Paid a visit to FLKGLS, nice to have another fan this local! I also made a replica of my car, including a slightly dodgy RHD conversion. ChristinaGXL 23 Posted June 6, 2014 (edited) So today I wired in my ghia rev counter dash, and the rev counter works fine.... Till 3k rpm then it dies :'( plugging that dash back in with about 1 inch of space and sharp things everywhere just :excl: 'd me off too much today to try again. Ugh. I knew it was going too well. :( Edited June 6, 2014 by ChristinaGXL
the-ford-cortina.com 225 Posted June 6, 2014 You are better leaving the mods off by the way - as nice as they are the greedy insurance companies want more money for any sniff of anything not standard on the car and that includes alloy wheels and spot lights unfortunately.
