Hi Brett, I have always wanted a Ghia, but it had to be a late one on the Y with the half chatsworth and leccy mirrors...I may put my ALDY plate on it from my 2 dr!

I wanted a silver or Titan blue one but wanted grey interior.

I have a silver '82 Ghia estate and Titan Blue Ghia saloon both with half chatsworth and electric heated mirrors but if I could choose a colour it would be Champagne Gold with tan interior. Your car is stunning and looks better the more pictures you post, I'm well jel as they say in Essex :) I am sure you will make this stunning but it is not too far away now, even has a correct radio :winner:

I must admit, I am so pleased with how unmessed the interior is, I am in two minds about the rs steering wheel, maybe it would be better for the Carbodies...but it already has the boot spoiler.....

Its funny I said to RT at the Monmouth show I wouldn't put another boot spoiler on a mark 5 and then a week later I get a car I never expected to get, and it has one fitted!

As the spoilers are already on I think they would be alright with the RS steering wheel, they are all period genuine Ford mods that could have been fitted to the car when new. If you remove them you will create more work and cost. Just need to fit some X pack (or Fiesta supersport wheels) and an X pack sticker on the rear panel and it will look great.

It's a very nice car as it stands Jim, I'm looking forward to your updates.

I was going to ask how you manage for storage until I read you were selling two cars - I have problems/worries keeping two cars.

Well I haven't really done anything to the car other than put the RS wheel on with the genuine RS boss! I was so chuffed to finally get the proper one!

Anyway, here are some pics...

Anyone got a proper RS centre without the horn push?

No nothing on the Convertible yet, I have so much going on at the moment with family etc I just haven't got the time! I dont want to rush it so I want it to be right and nt rushed. Im toying with having the interior in grey chatsworth like the ghia, i just love the trim. I think white and grey would look superb..
