orange cortina lamps

 

That would be a start. You could shine an orange and a red lamp through an orange lens, and if you had a flasher circuit that would give two more options.

Richard could possibly take an orange lens and fit a clear lens using perspex? then fit a tri-colour LED?

Cheers, yhea I saw the special lamp you did, it looked good. I guess a multi coloured led would work if not a cluster of various coloured LEDs. I was hoping there was an aftermarket lamp out there with a matching bezel to the originals.

If need be I can drill the dash, I want a switch to manually operate an electric rad fan so will probably use a HRW switch for that if I can find one and hook up a tell tale.

I have a HRW switch here you can have mate - will add it to the list of swap-shop items :)

Ok Soda blast all sorted time to tidy up shell ready for Gravitex

 

seam seal, couple of holes to fill, some welds to tidy up and braze infill then ready for final gapping and paint.

 

 

 

 

lets go.

 

soon have this on the road.......give me 6 months.

Wow, super fast progress, looking great after the blasting! Amazing that it's on course for the end of the year, nice Christmas present for you!

thanks Jayne, was good shell to start with but needed some work to get it that little bit better. suprising how much needed doin to get it tip top but i pleased with shell now its got the right parts fitted, the sills and front and rear valances and boot tub repairs etc...looking forward to finishing off now witj some final welds and seam seal and gravitex then a double check on all panel gaps:thumbup:

thanks for piccie steve love it!!!! so thats what the little dents are on inside roof!!! no probs they just pull out using one of the spot weld pullers!

 

i like the pic!

is it ok to use your pic for a promp pic ? BEFORE/AFTER
