CorNada 2 Posted July 27, 2015 Ok it's not a Cortina or even a car but having been a fan Gary Numan I always wanted to be a Numanoid! In 1989 I bought a Moog Polymoog 280a synthesizer with the Poly pedals and chrome legs in Bexhill-on-sea for £25, not working, my mate a radar tech at Gatwick got the mighty Moog up and running and now it sits with all of my other Analogue Synths which I bought years ago in the hall of profit. I will never sell them as they are apart of my history! 18 to date, including drum machines.

In about 1984 I had the offer of a Korg analogue synth - looking on t'internet I think it was a Mono/Poly, complete with wooden sides. I think I could have had it for £20, but instead bought some dodgy Casio digital keyboard

I think I could have had it for £20, but instead bought some dodgy Casio digital keyboard I bought a mint Roland Jupiter 6 poly synth in the late eighties from the keyboard player from band The Cutting Crew (I just died in your arms tonight) and sold it not long after as the 6th note would drift out of tune. The Jupiter 6 is now recognized as one of the best synths by Roland, what a Muppet!
LagoonBlue 145 Posted July 28, 2015 Years ago i found an old small toy looking synth at the local charity shop for a fiver, bought it on a whim. When i got back at home i googled the thing and it turns out that EDP Wasp is quite a collectible synth  Changed few crusty pots and sold it to a mate of mine at cost.
