Mk3 parcel shelf - is 2-door different to 4-door?

Recommended Posts

I went to visit my Mk3 today. In fact I've been there every day this week. But here is a puzzle - the parcel shelf that was cut off a 4-door Mk3 for me is a good 3" shorter than the one that's on the car. :headscratch:

It's not a problem, we can work around it, but it was a surprise.

Apparently it was cut from a Mk4, not a Mk3 and I was just confused :sofa:

It looked like a Mk3 to me!
