Neil. 96 Posted November 29, 2015 It appears very quick here, also on firefox but also use chrome too with similar results. Plusnet It might be worth detailing who your ISP is & version of firefox/windows etc & see if similarties crop up with other users.

Neil. 96 Posted November 29, 2015 if you get slow access again, can you please try the following & post the results Click Start on your PC, in the prompt box (search programs & files box), type cmd & hit return In the command prompt window that appears (black window) type tracert buysellcortina.co.uk & press return You should then see all the servers you hop through to get to BSC, one of them may be timing out & causing problems. If we can identify where it's happening, maybe we can resolve it. Different users using different ISPs may go through different routes to get to BSC, therefore not everyone will not necessarily have the same issue. Any help is appreciated Nelly Also need to know version of windows & browser(also version) you are using. Also version of Flash & Java, it may well be one of these is causing the problem as these are common across all browsers you use, so if it's more than one browser, it's more likely Flash/Java, which may be why some are getting script errors. wolfrace 116 Posted December 1, 2015 The dialogue box I get. Safari 5.0.6 Java SE 6 Forum is pretty unusable on this machine whereas on the ipod/iphone/ipad it's working quite happily. If I'm lucky this will post without having to force quit Safari.

wolfrace 116 Posted December 3, 2015 Thanks for the link Neil, unfortunately the version of OSX is too old for the latest version of Java. I am running 10.5.8 the machine otherwise works perfectly, last thing I want to do is to risk upsetting a computer with a new OS which I work on to use forums. I have been using the trusty ipod though, remarkably it must be several years old now and has never needed any kind of upgrade to go on the net, even though it's designed primarily to play music! Probably an example of simpler being better , like mobile phones now the more expensive and gadgety they are the less battery time they have and more faults they develope. the-ford-cortina.com 225 Posted December 3, 2015 Ebay also uses a lot of Javascript, so worthwhile updating to the latest version its not the java I dont think - often links that should work come up as dead , items that are listed come back as not existing when you click them.
