Danish 294 Posted December 8, 2015 Cilit Bang is what it needs I believe , if you find anything better let me know  Vanish stain remover soap bar and a nailbrush is my patented method! I've tried neat washing powder, kitchen cream cleaner, oven cleaner and bleach. It's better but not as good as Mike's results. I shall have to buy one of the above tomorrow.

Kencrackfixer 31 Posted December 8, 2015 What are your thoughts on BURTON POWER ? I know for a fact that the windscreen rubbers that they supply come from EKT !
Danish 294 Posted December 8, 2015 Burton's generally aren't cheap but their quality is good and customer service is good. I've not bought rubbers from them though, just engine bits.

Not everything they sell is expensive when I needed a set of core plugs for an Essex V6 engine they were the cheapest supplier I could find and yes everything is usually good quality and customer service is good. MrMacca 4 Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) Just to balance out the thread. I've never had any problem with EKT and what I've bought has all been good quality. Its good to see a company actually still making things for the Mk3! I got rubber window channels this time from them at the NEC, £25 for four and they threw in the clips. The couple seemed to be genuinely trying to continuously improve their manufacturing process stating they offer out test samples to clubs/groups. They said sadly they only seem to get feedback on this when it's too late and people aren't happy. No one ever feeds back when they are so I'm doing just that! Thing is MAC those window channels arnt made by EKT and are sold by loads of different trimmers and auto jumblers. I don't recall MTOC ever being offered out test samples of their door rubbers or screen seals. :headscratch: Has anyone from any of the other clubs been offered an out test sample? :juggle:
TinaInTheForest 1 Posted December 9, 2015 Garm, try these guys in Australia for weather seals etc. I've only seen good reports about their products... http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au/Ford%20Cortina%20MKI%201963-7.htm For trim panels, Aldridge is probably the best place to visit.... http://www.aldridge.co.uk/index.cfm Mark

Many moons ago when I had a MK3 Zodiac, i needed front and rear screen rubbers. The only place that did them was "FORD 50 SPARES" (Ken Tingy)and he got them from Aus. They were spot on and fitted a treat. Anyone else remember Ken?
