Cheers Chris and Deano

The next thing to do is fabricate some top bush mounting places .

A bit similar to the 4X4 Off road braises image.png.271b5f7ba1bdb6a52d0b925838c22e94.png

Said in an earlier post, I had to change the bellhousing and flywheel, I have now fitted a Dodge dart bellhousing.

As you can see its a lot smaller with a shallower angle. giving more clearance in the tunnel.

Anyway been a busy week making engine mount locations , the most time consuming thing as making sure the engine was in the centre of the bay and at the right angle.

I now have the engine sitting about 10mm over to the passengers side at around 7.25 degrease.

I found by rotating the original engine mounts instead of facing out in a V angle,  I could have them facing down ward toward the crossmember. These mounts are my prototypes as I don't really know what I am doing :bag:

So they are fully adjustable forward and back side to side . When am happy with the position of the engine I will make some stronger ones with just one hole rather then the adjustable holes.

In other news, I have to mate the Ford T5 box to the Dodge engine

Happy days,

I got a 10.5in Dodge clutch pressure plate  and a Ford T5 plate and they fit together .

What you can see is a Dodge flywheel, dodge clutch pressure plate with a T5 Ford friction plate

Cheears Chaps

Been busy with the gearbox crossmember, but todays job was the sump.

After much measuring , I cut out a section so it fits nice away from the engine crossmember.

First picture is how it was!!
