The additional parts for the hinges have been laser cut and formed up and are way for painting with the car and the custom gas struts have been ordered I just have to assemble everything once I have the car back from Body & Paint, all the dynamic force calcs done and all works out on paper.

The additional hinge parts have been designed two fit to the existing bonnet hinges without alteration to the either of the mountings.

Pete, can I ask, where you have ordered the struts from? looks like a good modification! puts the stress in the compressed position on the struts and not the bodywork.

The Strut are being custom made for the first pair as prototypes because it's not a standard travel once, I have those and have fitted and tested them & happy I will order a production set of 10 struts and have 5 sets of parts produced, the struts come with all the ball pivots needed.
