gheebhow 4 Posted April 24, 2016 Hi all, I'm after a replacement fuel sender unit - one of the pipes on mine has become loose and wobbly, so is leaking petrol a bit where it passes through the body of the sender unit. Not a lot, but I don't want to leave it. Tried a Chemical Metal bodge but it didn't last very long. Does anyone have a good condition unit they could let me have please? Preferably one with little rust, because I think that's what's done for this one. I've got a new-ish seal, having replaced the tank only a year ago. Thanks! gheebhow 4 Posted April 24, 2016 Ah that's a good idea! I'll give that a go before leaping to fit a new one. Thanks Bortaf! Neil

gheebhow 4 Posted April 24, 2016 I have a new one if it doesn't work! Thanks CortinaLover - it'll be a while before I can get round to dropping the tank, so it might be the summer before I know one way or another. Neil
cortinax14 10 Posted April 25, 2016 Thanks CortinaLover - it'll be a while before I can get round to dropping the tank, so it might be the summer before I know one way or another. Neil You can remove the sender with the tank in situ
