My cortina leans to the drivers side ?

Recommended Posts

Hello peeps

I remember this from years ago, my car leans to the drivers side when looked at front the rear. I did swap the springs round to see if that helped ,nope! Still does it .So I have a few plans

Fit one estate rear spring on the drivers side

Fit gas assisted shocks

Fit one of those rubber spring assisters

Anyone solved this on there own car ?

This is going to sound crazy, but on a car that came in years ago someone had fitted new balljoints to one side and tightened up the top and bottom bush bolts with the suspension hanging down, not saying that this is your problem but one of the list of things that," could "make it lean or sit higher on one side,,

Its from the rear I notice it

I hear what your saying Steve about the suspension bushes being tightened up while the car had no weight on the wheels. But the car seams to have done this before I rebuilt all the rear end, and yes this was one of the things I advised Pete on with his car after the rebuild.

I had this problem and was easily cured by purchasing some bathroom scales and a diet book...
