On the subject of colour..

I'd keep the colour the same as is; if you like it.

If you don't, consider changing it to original.

Only time I would otherwise change it to the original colour is if you are building a concorse car or putting it back to 100% factory spec.

 

It is your car.

Do with it what you want.

Cheers mate, appreciate your comment, not 100% decided, but leaning towards keeping it blue, dont really fancy taking the engine out and re doing the whole engine bay again,

been blue 16 years now too.

Always interesting tracing a car's history and seeing old period pics. You probably know already but there are a couple of maybe quite recent pics on the net of your 1600E in blue.

the pics on the net of mine are from the guy i bought it from, mainly shows around the kent area, he had the car 13 years, longest of any owner.

im in my 3rd year now

it is light blue, although i know mine was mixed with diamond white, when i get mine re painted it will just be light blue as intended

my tina is a 69
