MK3 Panels

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I am in need of some repair panels for my next project car. Any of the following would be useful:

- front crossmember

- upper front valance

- slam panel

- bulkhead

- radiator support uprights/inner headlamp panel areas

Please let me know if you have any of these available.

Cheers,

Henry.

cortinalover1971 was selling NOS Mk5 slam panels complete with the headlamp surrounds and radiator mounts - might be worth asking if he has one left. While not quite the same as a Mk3 slam panel, it has a reveal allowing a larger radiator and and extra inch or so space for the engine.

The bonnet catch area is different too bonnet won't locked supports are further apart ok if you want to chop it about but you'd be better with a proper mk3 one.

Mk3/4:5/p100s all have different slam/rad/headlight panels.

Might have a rad/hlight panel.

Bulkhead you'll have to make or find a good used one as repair panels have never been avl.

I supplied expressed panels with one in the 00s but he's never done anything.

Discussing that car is what reminded to update this thread. Unfortunately that one is too far gone to make it worth my while.

Many thanks for the heads-up nevertheless :D
