That's the GT dash pre 1965.

yes but the question was can you fit 3 that size gauge into a standard 2 gauge size binnacle? - I think not

No the 3 gauge Gt and pre aeroflow lotus dash are wider.

I did look into this some time ago and my measuring showed they fitted? The only thing that would need cutting about would be the back of the binnacle as it is moulded to take two clocks, I have just gone and checked again and they would fit 3 across in there.....

This would need some careful measuring and cutting...

^^^ thanks

it would be nice to know for certain the width of the 1964 GT dash, who has one :D

as id guess, the dashboard foam thingy top would also be different ?

the 1963 has its own dash, and different to all others

the 1964 has its own dash, and different to all others

Q - did the 1963 and 1964 have a 4 gauge thingy in the middle of the dash or was this just 1965 onwards ?

also noticed the 1964 GT dash,

the fuel/temp gauge has the oil pressure aswell,

i take it, its only the 1964 GT dash that has that style gauge

is there any other ford has this gauge ?

The dash top is the same on all pre aeroflow. Only aeroflow cars had the 4 separate gauges.

^^^ is the dash top on 1963 same as 1964 ?

i thought they were different as the dash/gauges/speedo etc are different between the two

as 1963 has it built into the dashboard, 1964 sits on top of the dashboard

when you say - pre aeroflow - does that mean 1963 1964 ?

aeroflow is 1965 1966
